Summary

The Jeffrey S. Moorad Center for the Study of Sports Law hosts its signature event—the annual Sports Law Symposium—on Friday, April 1, 2016. This year's symposium, A Changing Game: Challenging the Status Quo in Sports Law, will again explore the most topical and hard-hitting legal and business issues in sports today. Topics will include a continuing look at changes in the NCAA legal and business landscape; a view of pro sports from one of the nation's top agents and a two-time Super Bowl champion; and an in-depth look at the numerous issues surrounding the daily fantasy sports industry.

David Apfel, a partner in Goodwin Procter's Litigation Department and Chair of the firm's Gaming, Gambling and Sweepstakes Practice, will be speaking on a panel, "Daily Fantasy Sports: A Legal View."
