Goodwin Procter Ranked Among Top Law Firms for Private Equity and Venture Capital Deals by Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst

BOSTON, April  18, 2011Goodwin Procter LLP, a national Am Law 50 firm, has again been named as a leader in private equity and venture capital deals by Dow Jones Private Equity Analyst.   Goodwin Procter ranked fourth overall in volume for private equity and venture capital transactions closed in 2010 on Private Equity Analyst’s annual rankings, moving up from fifth for deals closed in 2009.

Goodwin closed 153 private equity and 355 venture capital transactions for a total of 508 completed deals in 2010.
