Goodwin’s New York Office Kicks Off Centennial Days of Community Service

Volunteers from Goodwin Procter’s New York office poured in sweat equity on a variety projects throughout the greater metropolitan area on August 3 as they kicked off the nationwide Day of Service series, part of Goodwin’s 100th anniversary commemoration.

They tore down walls on a Habitat for Humanity House, ripped up trees and weeds at East River Park, painted Brooklyn classrooms, played phys-ed teacher for a day and stuffed backpacks with school supplies for underprivileged students.

Goodwin’s Boston office will holding its first Day of Service on August 10 with projects throughout that region, and volunteers there are gearing up for a great day of giving back. Check back here soon for more stories and photographs.
