Goodwin Procter Expands Life Sciences Practice with Addition of Robert Puopolo in Boston

Goodwin Procter, a national Am Law 50 firm, announced today that Robert E. Puopolo has joined the firm’s Life Sciences Practice as a partner in the Boston office. Puopolo comes to Goodwin from Greenberg Traurig LLP where he was a shareholder and former co-chair of its emerging technology group.

Puopolo was an associate and partner at Goodwin from 2005-2010. He focuses his practice on corporate and related transactional matters, representing companies in a variety of life sciences, clean technology and technology industries, as well as the venture capital firms, hedge funds and investment banks that focus on these companies. Puopolo also advises life sciences companies and investors on a variety of licensing and other commercial transactions. He represents biotech and pharmaceutical clients in transactions involving intellectual property assets and has experience structuring and negotiating collaboration and license agreements.
