Ms. Larkin works with life science companies of all sizes to secure worldwide patent rights. She drafts and prosecutes U.S. and foreign patent applications, performs freedom to operate and patentability analyses, and conducts due diligence reviews with the goal of helping her clients build strong patent portfolios.
Ms. Larkin brings several years of experience as a research scientist to her practice. She was awarded an NIH postdoctoral fellowship for her research in protein translocation at Harvard Medical School, and carried out her graduate studies at MIT, where she investigated asparagine-linked glycosylation using a combination of organic chemistry and biochemistry. Prior to graduate school, Ms. Larkin was a research scientist at Seattle Genetics, and conducted studies on the synthesis of nucleoside analogs as an undergraduate.
