Mr. Stamos focuses his practice on a broad variety of industrial, commercial, and consumer products clients. Representative client sectors presently served include medical devices and diagnostics instrumentation, robotics systems and controls, rapid prototyping materials and machinery, computer simulation and interfaces, solar power generation and air pollution control systems, financial services, athletic equipment, high volume product manufacture, telecommunications and composite materials processing using recycled waste.
Christopher W. Stamos
Christopher Stamos, a partner in Goodwin’s Intellectual Property Group, focuses his practice on intellectual property rights counseling, procurement and enforcement, with special emphasis on patent portfolio strategy and development, transactional diligence, and patent and trade secret litigation. Mr. Stamos also renders patentability, non-infringement and invalidity opinions, and negotiates licenses, both in transactional contexts and in settlement of litigation. He is a key contributor to Goodwin’s Founders Workbench, an online resource for start-ups, emerging companies and the entrepreneurial community
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2005, Mr. Stamos was a partner at Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault in Boston, where he was a member of the Patent and Intellectual Property Practice Group. Mr. Stamos has a technical background in turbomachinery, automated manufacturing equipment and control systems.
