VIDEO: Stuart Cable and Minta Kay Speak at Milken Institute Global Conference

Stuart Cable and Minta Kay recently served as moderator and panelists, respectively, at the 2015 Milken Institute Global Conference held April 26-29 in Los Angeles. The prestigious annual conference, which attracted 3,500 attendees from more than 50 countries, explored solutions to challenges in financial markets, industry sectors, health, government and education.

Cable, chair of M&A/Corporate Finance for the firm’s Tech and Life Sciences practice, acted as a moderator of the "Boom or Bust: Opportunities and Risk in M&A" panel. Panelists debated the outlook for M&A in specific industries that have seen robust deal activity such as energy and biopharma, and the impact of activism in the Board room. Kay, a senior partner in Goodwin’s Real Estate Capital Markets practice, served as a panelist on the "Global Real Estate: Best Countries, Best Classes" panel. Speakers discussed the real opportunities and risks in real estate markets around the world, including where investors are likely to find the best returns and whether slow-growth markets are undervalued. (Click here to watch a video of the panel discussion.)
