2017 Wayne A. Budd And Marian A. Tse Scholarship Recipients

Arturo Cruz
Arturo Cruz attends Boston University School of Law. He graduated from University of Central Florida (UCF) with a B.A. in political science. He has worked as a legal assistant for Maher Law Firm and as a logistics intern for Feeding Children Everywhere, a nonprofit organization that empowers and mobilizes people to assemble healthy meals for hungry children. Mr. Cruz also served as a teaching assistant for UCF’s Burnett Honors College, was the director of language for the Global Medical Brigades at UCF and has volunteered at the Orlando Regional Medical Center. He spent his 1L summer as an intern for Greater Boston Legal Services. He was a Goodwin 1L Diversity Fellowship recipient and is joining the 2018 Goodwin summer program in Boston.

2017 Richard A. Soden And Paul W. Lee Scholarship Recipients

Dennis Craig Diversity Dennis Craig II attends Georgetown University Law Center. He graduated from Howard University with a B.A. in Political Science. Mr. Craig currently works as external affairs manager for the political start-up No Labels and is responsible for producing its weekly radio show “No Labels Radio with A.B. Stoddard” on SiriusXM, as well as coordinating its outreach efforts to Capitol Hill. He previously worked as a management and program assistant for the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation, and as a document management technician for the September 11th Victim Compensation Fund, where he was responsible for litigation support for the fund’s daily endeavors. He is joining the 2018 Goodwin Summer Program in Washington, DC.
Dylan Lonergan Diversity Dylan Lonergan attends New York University School of Law. He graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Philosophy. While an undergraduate, he interned with New York County Defender Services. After graduation he worked as chief operating officer for DormAid and Lion Laundry and as a tutor for The New York Foundling, providing at-home tutoring services for students in foster care. Mr. Lonergan spent his 1L summer as an intern for L+M Development Partners and worked with the Affordable Housing Preservation team to rehabilitate and maintain affordable housing in the greater New York City area. As a law student, Mr. Lonergan continues to work as a part-time tutor for The New York Foundling. He is joining the 2018 Goodwin summer program in New York.
Natalie Minois Diversity
Natalie Minois attends University of North Carolina School of Law. She graduated from Davidson College with a B.S. in Psychology. She worked as a legal intern for the National Health Program, where she researched and drafted legal summaries regarding health insurance practices and relevant federal regulations. Ms. Minois also served as a volunteer for the University of North Carolina Cancer Project, where she helped clients to create durable and health care powers of attorney and living wills. During her 1L summer, she worked as a law clerk for Wells Fargo & Company and Parker Poe Adam & Bernstein LLP. She is joining the 2018 Goodwin summer program in Washington, DC.
Grace Truong Diversity
Grace Truong attends Harvard Law School and Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She was a Fulbright Fellow in the Philippines, where she researched resources available to individuals with disabilities. Ms.Truong is also co-founder of Grant Fellow LLC, where she managed $10,000 of seed funding from Microsoft and won 1st place in the Microsoft Imagine Cup National Finals. During her 1L summer, she worked as a summer associate for Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP in Palo Alto. She is joining the 2018 Goodwin summer program in New York.
