London Graduate Recruiting

You Can't Predict Your Future, But At Goodwin, We Can Help You Create It.

The key message that we emphasise to all of our Vacation Scheme students and trainees is that Goodwin supports those with aspirations, an entrepreneurial spirit and a belief that they can contribute to our clients' success.

As a future trainee, knowing why you want to enter a career in law is important. Equally important is starting your career at the right firm—one that goes beyond all expectations and offers opportunity and career development. Goodwin is a firm which continues to strive to deliver exactly that.

Our London office recruits up to 14 trainees each year. Our lawyers are experienced in the Life Sciences, TechnologyReal Estate and Private Equity sectors and are supported by significant on-the-ground capabilities in debt financing, intellectual property, data, privacy and cybersecurity, regulatory, restructuring, tax and complex litigation and dispute resolution. Our size and continued growth allow us to offer trainees and associates increased responsibility and meaningful client contact from the outset. We work in small teams, which gives our lawyers the opportunity to work directly with, and be mentored by, senior colleagues, and to develop a network that will be an invaluable part of their future career development.

If you are interested in starting your career at Goodwin, we would encourage you to read on and to apply for a place on our Vacation Scheme or training contract programme.

Pro Bono

Very often those who most need legal representation can least afford to pay for it. Whether it’s guidance on housing, immigration, criminal defense or small business development, free and reliable legal counsel can make real and lasting changes in people’s lives and livelihoods. That’s why pro bono work is one of the cornerstones of our firm.
