At Goodwin, effective mentoring is a two-way street and an essential part of our culture. We’ve created more opportunities for better mentoring relationships through interactive staffing protocols, formal mentoring relationships for all associates, hands-on training programs, business unit retreats and meetings, and other programs.
As part of our formal mentoring program, we have developed a firm-wide advisor network, through which partners collaborate to provide associates with mentoring, career guidance, and feedback that is tailored to associates' career stages. Our attorneys form strong mentoring relationships, and associates receive effective advice and feedback. Our advisors are engaged and focused on career development, professional skills enhancement, and problem-solving. We evaluate our advisor network regularly to ensure that everyone involved benefits from the experience.
