Gaming in Massachusetts: Where Do We Go From Here?

On November 4, Massachusetts voters went to the polls and rejected an effort to repeal the Massachusetts casino law. As a result, casino gambling — and the state law that provides for up to three destination resort casinos and one slots parlor — is moving forward in Massachusetts. What will be the next steps for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission and the licensed gaming operators?  What happens in the Southeastern Massachusetts region and the award of the last potential resort casino license? What is the future of online gaming and sports betting in Massachusetts?  How does Massachusetts compete in the New England gaming market?

Please join us to hear from practitioners and experts on the result of the vote and the future of casino-style gaming in Massachusetts.

This event is co-hosted by Goodwin Procter LLP and the Boston Bar Association.
