Marie Gicquel is a senior associate in Goodwin’s Restructuring practice.
She assists debtors facing financing difficulties as well as creditors, both in preventive restructuring proceedings (mandat ad hoc and conciliation proceedings) and insolvency proceedings (safeguards, reorganization and liquidation proceedings).
In addition to her restructuring practice, she has developed a strong experience in commercial litigation.
Before joining Goodwin in 2019, Ms. Gicquel was an associate at White & Case LLP and previously in the Restructuring teams of both a French law firm, and a major international law firm in Paris. She also spent one year as an in-house counsel in New York.
Ms. Gicquel is a founding member and the former vice chairman of the AJR association, the leading professional not-for-profit organization for the young professionals operating in the restructuring market.
