Goodwin seeks a highly qualified midlevel to senior associate (class of 2019 +) to join the Fintech practice of its Financial Industry group. The work is focused on regulatory counseling on consumer and small business financial products and services, including all credit types, deposits, payments, and alternative lending arrangements (e.g., merchant cash advances and factoring). The position also will support enforcement and litigation and transactional teams from a financial regulatory perspective. Candidate should have a background in regulatory practice and a deep knowledge of the federal and state laws and regulations that apply to these products and services. Candidates who have an interest or experience in the complex legal issues related to cryptocurrencies and other digital assets will be strongly considered.

Candidate also should have experience working collaboratively in teams and in managing substantial components of projects independently. 

Candidates applying for associate positions with Goodwin should have outstanding academic credentials, law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.
