Goodwin Procter’s Paul Lee Recognized By Asian Pacific American Legal Community

National Asian Pacific American Bar Association Law Foundation honors Lee for continued support and commitment

BOSTON, March 10, 2005 — Goodwin Procter LLP today announced that Paul W. Lee has been recognized by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) Law Foundation for his service to that organization’s programs to benefit the Asian Pacific American legal community. Lee is a partner in the firm’s Business Law Department.

This award is given in recognition of Lee’s continuing support of the NAPABA Law Foundation, as well as his generous gift which allowed for the creation of the NAPABA Partners Community Law Fellowship in 2004. This program addresses the shortage of attorneys working on behalf of the Asian Pacific American population and helps to develop public interest law leaders of the future, both in the areas of non-profit and as pro bono advocates in the private bar.

Additional honors being bestowed at NAPABA’s Inaugural Gala Banquet include a posthumous award given to the late Judge Thomas Tang of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, who was one of the founding members of NAPABA. Guests of honor will include Chief Judge Mary M. Schroeder of the Ninth Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.
