Segue Software to be Acquired by Borland Software in Estimated $100 Million Transaction

BOSTON, Feb. 8, 2006 — Segue Software Inc. today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement in which Borland Software Corporation will acquire Segue. Under the terms of the agreement, Borland will acquire all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Segue in a one-step transaction valued at approximately $100 million.

Segue is an expert in delivering solutions to define, measure, manage and improve software quality throughout the entire application lifecycle. Borland is the global leader in Software Delivery Optimization, providing the software and services that align the people, processes and technology required to maximize the business value of software.
