Stephen G. Mills And Janet Andolina Join Goodwin Procter’s Tax Practice In New York

BOSTON, Jan. 9, 2007 - Goodwin Procter, a national law firm with 700 attorneys, is pleased to announce the addition of Stephen G. Mills and Janet Andolina as partners to the firm's Tax Practice in New York. Both attorneys join the firm from King & Spalding and have significant expertise with regard to tax considerations in corporate transactions. Mills and Andolina will be key members of Goodwin Procter's Tax Practice, allowing the firm to further enhance its practice platform.

Mills has extensive experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, financial products, private equity and hedge funds, corporate finance and international taxation. Prior to King & Spalding, he was a partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett. He earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan, graduating summa cum laude, and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, graduating magna cum laude.

Andolina has substantial experience representing public and private corporations in connection with taxable and tax-free mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, spinoffs and joint ventures. She also concentrates her practice on the representation of sponsors of private equity and real estate opportunity funds. She earned her B.A. from Union College, graduating magna cum laude, and J.D. from the University of Chicago, graduating cum laude.
