Goodwin Procter Expands Technology & Life Sciences Group with Addition of Andrew Goodman in New York

Goodwin Procter, a leading Am Law 50 and Global 50 law firm, announced today that Andrew H. Goodman has rejoined the firm as a partner in its Technology & Life Sciences Group in New York. Goodman comes to the firm from Kean Miller LLP in New Orleans. He was previously a partner in Goodwin Procter’s Los Angeles office after practicing as an associate in its Boston office for five years.

Goodman focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism and general business advice. He advises corporate clients, ranging from start-ups to large publicly traded companies, investment funds and entrepreneurs, in transactions in the technology and life sciences industries.

He has particular experience structuring, negotiating and implementing merger and acquisition transactions involving public and private buyers and sellers, and advising boards of directors on shareholder activism, as well as on company sales, acquisitions, financings, strategic alternatives and fiduciary duties.
