Goodwin Procter Expands Real Estate Capital Markets Group with Addition of David Bernstein in New York

Goodwin Procter, a leading Am Law 50 and Global 50 law firm, announced today that David Bernstein has joined the firm as counsel in its Business Law Department, resident in the firm’s New York office. Bernstein was formerly a partner at K&L Gates and at Rogers & Wells (which later merged with Clifford Chance), where he headed the corporate practice.

A corporate and transactional lawyer focusing on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, securities transactions and corporate governance in the real estate space, Bernstein has led a wide variety of transactions, including acquisitions and sales of publicly traded companies, as well as cross-border acquisitions in the United States and elsewhere by European, Asian and South American clients. He has also acted as a regular advisor to boards of directors of NYSE-listed and other publicly traded companies.
