For the sixth consecutive year, Goodwin was recently named to the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2019 Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality list, a distinction awarded to businesses who receive the top score of 100 percent on the organization’s benchmark Corporate Equality Index report.

“Diversity and inclusion are core values here at Goodwin,” said David Hashmall, chairman and partner. “Through efforts such as our Pride Initiative, we have worked hard to create a culture of inclusion at the firm, and are proud to be recognized yet again by HRC as one of the Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”

Goodwin’s Pride Initiative principally focuses on recruiting, retaining and advancing LGBTQ talent. The initiative also seeks to create a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment, and to build a strong network of LGBTQ professionals and allies.

The Human Rights Campaign Foundation is America’s largest civil rights organization working to end discrimination and achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer equality. The Corporate Equality Index was first published 16 years ago and rates companies on LGBTQ-related policies and practices including nondiscrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community.
