U.K. Plans to Ease Capital Raising Rules in Post-Brexit Overhaul (Bloomberg)

The U.K. government is looking to ease the rules for companies to raise cash as part of a wide-ranging revamp to boost London’s standing as a global financial center after Brexit. Head of European strategic relationships Markus Bauman said that tech and life sciences firms are not particularly focused on the rights offering processes, but these are the kinds of companies that the U.K. wants to attract.
