Elizabeth was a law clerk at Goodwin with the IPTS group during the fall of 2021 and a summer associate at Goodwin in 2021. During the summer of 2020, Elizabeth was a legal intern at Foundation Medicine in Cambridge, MA. During the spring semester of Elizabeth’s third year of law school, she worked abroad in Dublin, Ireland at a global law firm in their intellectual property and privacy department and attended Trinity College Dublin. She served as an Articles Editor for Boston College Law Review and published a Comment in the journal in 2021: Hospice Care’s Adventures in Fraudland: “Battle of the Experts” and Proving Falsity Under the False Claims Act.
Prior to law school, Elizabeth worked for nearly ten years in clinical trial research and operations for several institutions and sponsors including Novo Nordisk, Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Columbia University, and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Elizabeth has research experience in therapeutic areas such as diabetes, obesity, and oncology. During graduate school, Elizabeth was a teaching assistant for graduate physiology courses and served as a lab aide for a breast cancer animal research study. She is a co-author on scientific papers published in FASEB and Surgery for Obesity and Related Diseases journals.
