Prior to joining Goodwin, Dr. Choi conducted doctoral research focused on the synthesis of hybrid inorganic-organic nanomaterials and the investigation of their electronic and magnetic properties. Dr. Choi has presented her work at national and international conferences and authored scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of the American Chemical Society, Nano Letters, Nature Nanotechnology, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Inorganic Chemistry, and Chemical Science. Dr. Choi also served as a fellow at Columbia Technology Ventures, the technology transfer office for Columbia University.
Dr. Bonnie Choi is a Science Law Clerk in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Intellectual Property group. She joined Goodwin in 2018.
Dr. Choi assists clients with prior art research, patent preparation, patent prosecution, and freedom to operate analyses.
In graduate school, Dr. Choi was the recipient of the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship.
