Dr. Bonnie Choi is a science law clerk and registered patent agent in the firm’s Business Law department and a member of its Intellectual Property group.
Bonnie assists clients with prior art research, patent preparation, patent prosecution, and freedom to operate analyses.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin, Bonnie conducted doctoral research focused on the synthesis of hybrid inorganic-organic nanomaterials and the investigation of their electronic and magnetic properties. Bonnie has presented her work at national and international conferences and authored scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals including Journal of the American Chemical Society, Nano Letters, Nature Nanotechnology, Angewandte Chemie International Edition, Inorganic Chemistry, and Chemical Science. Dr. Choi also served as a fellow at Columbia Technology Ventures, the technology transfer office for Columbia University.
