Dr. Shin Hee Lee is a science advisor and registered patent agent in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Intellectual Property group. She assists clients with prior art research, patent preparation, patent prosecution, and freedom to operate analyses. She joined Goodwin in 2019.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining Goodwin, Dr. Lee conducted scientific research focused on the synthesis of drug molecules and herbicides, as well as organic dyes for renewable energy production. Dr. Lee has presented her work at national conferences and authored scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals including ACS Central Science, Organic Letters, Journal of Organic Chemistry, Journal of Physical Chemistry, and Organic Process Research and Development. She is also a named inventor on two issued U.S. patents.
