Ms. Moorthy has experience representing high-tech clients in the prosecution and defense of complex intellectual property, unfair competition and business practice matters. Ms. Moorthy has significant experience in the initial phases of litigation, including motion practice and the management of e-discovery in intellectual property and general litigation matters.
Prior to joining Goodwin in 2017, Ms. Moorthy was an associate in Duane Morris’ Silicon Valley office where she practiced in the area of intellectual property law and assisted on various commercial litigation matters. She spent significant time working closely with a high-tech Silicon Valley client via secondment where she was integrated into the corporation’s legal team and developed strong relationships with its in-house counsel.
During law school, Ms. Moorthy externed in the patent prosecution department of a major electronics company where she was involved with the tracking and management of essential patent prosecution items, including information disclosures, patent applications, notices of allowance, patent issuances and foreign filings.
