Jacob Tyson is a registered notary in the state of New York and a member of the American Constitution Society.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
During law school, Jacob served as a legal extern for FINRA enforcement., working on cases involving market manipulation, insider trading, money laundering, benefits fraud, penny stock fraud, and SEC Rule 144 violations. He also practiced as a student attorney at the Health Rights Law Clinic, representing clients in disputes with healthcare providers and insurers, as well as local and federal agencies in Washington, DC. Before that, Jacob was a legal researcher with Burton Blatt Institute, focusing on administrative appeals to the Social Security Administration and federal courts.
Before law school, Jacob was a financial advisor. In that role, he advised on insurance and investment strategies for businesses, entrepreneurs, and individual investors.
