We are seeking a highly qualified Privacy + Cybersecurity mid-level associate (class of 2019-2021). Candidate must have hands on familiarity devising practical solutions for companies subject to FTC jurisdiction and state privacy laws with particular focus on ad tech, ed tech, fin tech, COPPA, CAN-SPAM and emerging technologies, including the IoT, block chain and biometrics. Must also have experience drafting privacy, data handling and cybersecurity policies and conducting privacy due diligence for deals and other corporate transactions. Familiarity with cross-border data transactions a plus. In addition to strong substantive experience, we're looking for a collaborative team player who enjoys working in a fast paced, collegial law firm environment. Candidates applying for attorney positions with Goodwin should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
