Goodwin announced that former Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawyer David Lynn would join its ranks as Capital Markets partner and chair of its Public Company Advisory practice. Commenting on his appointment, Goodwin’s Capital Markets practice co-chair Edwin O’Connor said that Lynn’s unmatched experience in his field would be immensely beneficial to the firm’s diverse client base as it continues to enhance its offering. Lynn spoke to IFLR as he embarks on his latest venture at Goodwin and said that "Goodwin has developed an outstanding platform to provide advice and support on securities regulation, corporate governance, capital markets transactions and other regulatory matters, and my role will be to help lead and grow that function for the benefit of its clients."
