Goodwin Procter Hosts Second Annual Evening of Professional Networking

BOSTON, May 8, 2008 – Goodwin Procter recently held its Second Annual Evening of Professional Networking, which was hosted by the firm’s Committee on Racial and Ethnic Diversity and co-sponsored by the firm’s Pro Bono Committee. The event drew approximately 125 attendees and provided the opportunity for diverse professionals in the private, public interest, academia, and public sectors, including Goodwin Procter attorneys, to meet in an informal environment. The evening featured a chocolate tasting and a wine program that paired wines with foods from around the world.

“Our objective is to provide a valuable (and enjoyable) professional opportunity in Boston for professionals who are members of minority groups and/or persons of color,” said Roberto M. Braceras, partner who serves on both Committees. “Promoting diversity affirms Goodwin Procter’s core values and is part of a strategic business approach that helps Goodwin Procter serve our clients effectively, as well as attracting and supporting top legal talent.”
