Parker Bagley Joins Firm’s New York Office
BOSTON, August 4, 2008 – Goodwin Procter announced that Parker H. Bagley has joined the firm as a partner in its Intellectual Property and Litigation practice in New York. Bagley is an IP litigator with experience representing clients on a wide range of complex matters, including trademark, patent, copyright, trade secret and false advertising, and he has also successfully tried patent and copyright cases for major corporate clients. Prior to joining Goodwin Procter, Bagley was a partner at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy.

In 2004, Bagley successfully defended the world’s largest brewer, Anheuser-Busch, Inc., in the Star Industries v. Anheuser Busch trademark infringement suit. In addition, Bagley has won trials for many other leading companies, including McDonald’s Corporation and L’Oreal.

Partner Biographical Information
Parker H. Bagley is an active member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), he speaks on various topics at INTA and AIPLA meetings and forums and served as Chair of AIPLA’s Trademark Legislation Committee (2004, 2005). He has been named one of the top four trademark litigators in the US in a Managing Intellectual Property survey. In addition, he is on the editorial advisory board of Fordham Intellectual Property, Media and Entertainment Law Journal, and has taught at Fordham Law School. He authors the regular Patent and Trademark Law column in The New York Law Journal and has written articles for numerous other publications.
Bagley earned his J.D. from Fordham University and his B.A. from Columbia University.
