Goodwin Procter Expands Tech Companies Practice With Addition of Richard A. Kline in Silicon Valley

BOSTON, May 10, 2011 – Goodwin Procter LLP , a national Am Law 50 firm, announced today that Richard A. Kline has joined the firm’s Business Law Department. He will focus on public companies, capital markets, securities and venture financing transactions, as a member of the firm’s Technology Companies Practice. Kline will be resident in Goodwin’s Silicon Valley office. He joins Goodwin from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he had practiced since 1999.

Kline has represented a wide range of clients including investment banks, large corporate clients, medical device manufacturers, tech companies and venture capital firms.

He has particular expertise advising on securities transactions, company formations, venture financings, M&A transactions, capital markets transactions, corporate governance, public offerings and board advising. Prior to his work at Wilson Sonsini, Kline was a CPA at Coopers & Lybrand in Boston.
