Goodwin Procter announced that Brian E. Pastuszenski has been selected to the 2011 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America.
Brian E. Pastuszenski, partner in Goodwin’s Litigation Department and co-chair of the firm’s Securities Litigation & SEC Enforcement Practice, was recognized for their accomplishments in the past year and continued excellence.
Pastuszenski over the past four years has been lead securities litigation counsel for Countrywide Financial Corporation, formerly an S&P 100 corporation before its acquisition by Bank of America Corporation in 2008 and one of the largest mortgage lenders in the
United States. Pastuszenski represents Countrywide in lawsuits in federal and state courts across the country, including a Multidistrict Litigation Proceeding and both securities class action and individual institutional investor lawsuits concerning mortgage-backed securities, equity and corporate debt securities, as well as other matters.
