Greg Bibler, a partner in Goodwin Procter’s Environmental Practice, has been elected to become a fellow of the American College of Environmental Lawyers, an association of preeminent lawyers who practice in the field of environmental law.
Membership is limited to environmental lawyers recognized by their peers as being the best practitioners in their field. ACOEL consists of 168 lawyers from 47 states and the District of Columbia working in government, academics, non-governmental organizations and private practice.
Bibler’s practice encompasses all aspects of environmental law, including litigation, enforcement, corporate compliance and sustainability programs, contaminated site management, and business transactions.
His core areas of expertise include cost recovery and environmental tort litigation, internal investigations and defense of environmental enforcement actions, citizens suits, environmental auditing and management systems, and complex or “mega sites,” particularly those involving coal tar, contaminated sediment, vapor intrusion, or DNAPL migration and remediation.
