Lawdragon Honors Goodwin’s Pisa, Menna and Pastuszenski as Among the 500 Leading Lawyers in United States

The 2013 edition of Lawdragon 500 recognizes Goodwin Procter’s Regina Pisa, Gilbert Menna and Brian Pastuszenski as part of an elite group comprising the top 500 lawyers in the United States.

Pisa is chairman of Goodwin Procter and a member of the firm’s banking practice. She focuses primarily on the financial services industry, representing both banks and financial institutions, and has led the firm since 1998. She was the first woman chairman and managing partner of an Am Law 100 law firm.

“The veteran corporate adviser and firm leader is among the most recognized and award-laden of all trailblazers in the legal profession,” Lawdragon’s editors wrote of Pisa.

Menna is chair of Goodwin’s Real Estate Capital Markets Group, as well as co-chair of its REITs Practice. He is recognized nationally for his representation of some of the nation’s leading publicly traded real estate operating companies in connection with their corporate finance, corporate governance, and merger and acquisition transactions.

“The numbers tell the story – Menna has been involved on behalf of the firm’s clients in REIT transactions totaling more than $100 billion, with over $90 billion in M&A transactions and $15 billion in equity or debt securities transactions,” the editors wrote of Menna.

Pastuszenski is a senior partner and co-chair of Goodwin Procter's national Securities Litigation & SEC Enforcement Practice. He is widely recognized as one of the nation’s leading lawyers in defending securities class action and shareholder litigation matters, as well as proceedings brought by the SEC and other regulatory organizations.
