Mblox to be Acquired by CLX Communications for $117 Million

Goodwin Procter represented Mblox, one of the world’s largest application-to-person (A2P) mobile messaging providers, in a definitive agreement to be acquired by CLX Communications AB for a cash consideration of $117 million.

Founded in 1999, Mblox is the largest cloud-based mobile messaging provider in the world, trusted by more companies to carry their mission-critical traffic than any other service. The platform sends seven billion mobile messages a year on behalf of more than 4,000 customers.

CLX Communications is a leading provider of enterprise cloud communications services and software solutions to mobile operators.

The Goodwin team advising Mblox included partner Larry Chu,  partner Kelsey Lemaster (Tax), partner Jim Riley, and associate Jacob Osborn (Foreign Trade Regulation).
