Victoria Elman

Victoria Elman is a partner in Goodwin’s Corporate and Technology Companies Groups. She has extensive experience advising startup and later-stage technology companies through the entire corporate life-cycle. Her practice includes formation, general corporate counseling and securities law, venture capital and growth equity financings and mergers and acquisitions.

Professional Experience

Ms. Elman is a Lecturer in Law at Boston University School of Law where she teaches a semester-long simulation course in the Transactional Law Program entitled “Forming and Financing a Start-Up Business.”


While attending law school, Ms. Elman was the Notes Editor of the Cardozo Law Review. She was selected as the first place winner in the New York Intellectual Property Law Association’s 2009 Conner Writing Competition, awarded for excellence in writing by law students in the field of intellectual property, for her paper entitled “Girl Talk on Trial in 2009: Could Fair Use Prevail?”
