Ms. Elman is the author of “From the Runway to the Courtroom: How Substantial Similarity is Unfit for Fashion” published by the Cardozo Law Review (2008) and co-author of “Girl Talk on Trial in 2009: Could Fair Use Prevail?” in the Cardozo Law Review de novo (2009).
Victoria Elman is an associate in the firm’s Business Law Department. She joined Goodwin in 2010.
While attending law school, Ms. Elman was the Notes Editor of the Cardozo Law Review. She was selected as the first place winner in the New York Intellectual Property Law Association’s 2009 Conner Writing Competition, awarded for excellence in writing by law students in the field of intellectual property, for her paper entitled “Girl Talk on Trial in 2009: Could Fair Use Prevail?.”
