Ian Engstrand is a partner in the firm's Technology Companies and M+A/Corporate Governance Practices, where he focuses on representation of technology companies. Mr. Engstrand is a key contributor to Goodwin’s Founders Workbench, an online resource for start-ups, emerging companies and the entrepreneurial community. He joined Goodwin in 2007.

Mr. Engstrand has experience in several areas of corporate practice with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, corporate finance and securities and capital markets transactions.

Experience

Mr. Engstrand advises public and private companies on a variety of matters, including company formations, seed, venture and growth equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions and compliance, and corporate governance. He represents companies in diverse industries such as telecommunications, digital media, software, Internet, search, mobile, online advertising, security and enterprise services, medical technology and clean tech, as well as the venture capital, private equity and investment banks that focus on these companies.
