David R. Fox
David R. Fox is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department. He concentrates his practice in complex civil and appellate litigation. Mr. Fox has represented clients in all stages of complex litigation. His work for clients includes the defense of a mortgage lender in a class-wide jury trial and subsequent appeal involving alleged violations of RESPA, the defense of financial-services clients in class action lawsuits and government investigations, and the representation of advocacy groups in trial court and appellate litigation.
Mr. Fox returned to Goodwin in 2015 after clerking for the Honorable David J. Barron of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Prior to that, Mr. Fox worked as an associate in Goodwin’s Washington, D.C., office from 2012 to 2014.
Mr. Fox graduated first in his class at the George Washington University Law School. While attending law school, he was a managing editor of the George Washington Law Review.
Mr. Fox is a member of the Boston Bar Association.
