Nicholas F. Frey, II

Nicholas Frey is a counsel in the firm’s ERISA & Executive Compensation group where he focuses on executive compensation and employee benefits issues. He joined Goodwin in 2011.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Frey was an associate at Fenwick & West. He began his career at Dewey and LeBoeuf.


While attending law school, Mr. Frey was the Editor in Chief of the Arizona Journal of International and Comparative Law.

Areas of Practice


Mr. Frey has assisted clients with a variety of executive compensation and employee benefits issues in the context of mergers and acquisitions, implementing benefit and compensation arrangements and providing day-to-day compliance advice.
