Aaron Klein is a counsel in the firm’s Business Law Department and a member of its Private Equity group. Mr. Klein specializes in advising private equity funds and their portfolio companies in large-scale and middle-market transactions, including mergers, asset and stock acquisitions and divestitures, growth equity investments, leveraged buyouts and recapitalizations, financings and other corporate matters. Mr. Klein advises clients in various industries including technology, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, consumer products, transportation and logistics, e-commerce and healthcare industries. He joined Goodwin in 2015.

Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Klein was an associate in the New York office of Paul Hastings LLP. Mr. Klein began his career as an associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Klein was a Product Manager at MicroStrategy, Inc., a mid-size software analytics company.

While attending law school, Mr. Klein was an editor for the Cardozo Law Review and a Dean’s Merit Scholar, and also volunteered for the Innocence Project.
