Simon Prosser

Simon is a Counsel in Goodwin’s private investment funds team. Simon has worked across asset classes on fundraisings, managed accounts, co-investments and incentivisation schemes for sponsors including BlackRock, Macquarie, Bregal, Glennmont (Nuveen), Cabot Properties, Cubera, and Novastar Ventures.

Simon used to work at BlackRock (predominantly with their infrastructure funds-of-funds and credit teams) and is currently on part-time secondment with BlackRock. Simon is an occasional guest tutor at Oxford University’s fund negotiation workshops for Executive MBA students.

Simon’s volunteering experience includes campaigning for the Oklahoma Democratic Party and working on legal appeals for people on death row in New Orleans.

Simon was described by Acritas (Reuters) Legal Stars 2020 as: "Very responsive, very hard working, and technically good. He’s a nice person to work with."
