Represented plaintiff in Hatch-Waxman patent litigation in response to defendants’ filing of an Abbreviated New Drug Application seeking approval to market a generic albuterol sulfate drug product.
  • Bayer Pharma AG, et al. v. Watson Laboratories, Inc., et al., No. 12-517-GMS (D.Del.). Represented defendant in Hatch-Waxman patent litigation in response to Watson’s filing of an Abbreviated New Drug Application seeking approval to market a generic vardenafil hydrochloride trihydrate drug product.
  • In re Copaxone 40 mg Consolidated Cases, No. 14-1171-GMS (D.Del.). Representing plaintiff in Hatch-Waxman patent litigation in response to defendants’ filing of an Abbreviated New Drug Applications seeking approval to market a generic glatiramer acetate drug product.
  • Merck Sharpe & Dohme Corp. v. Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, Inc., No. 14-874-SLR-SRF (D.Del.). Representing defendant in Hatch-Waxman patent litigation in response to Teva’s filing of an Abbreviated New Drug Application seeking approval to market a generic mometasone furoate monohydrate drug product.
Professional Activities

Mr. Riley is on the board of governors for the Eastern Analytical Society.

Professional Experience

Prior to joining Goodwin, Mr. Riley worked in petrochemical research at a major oil company where his research involved surface science, chemical sensing, geochemistry, materials synthesis, and alternative energy.
