Experience
Gregory has significant experience in representing companies and private equity firms in corporate and transactional matters, including leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, other investment transactions, and general company representation. He has industry experience and expertise in aerospace, defense and government services; climate tech, energy and power, mining and metals, and industrial and manufacturing. Gregory’s representative clients have included, among others, The Carlyle Group, D.E. Shaw, Onex Corporation, Charterhouse, Bregal Investments and their portfolio companies.*
Prior to joining Goodwin, Gregory worked at Latham & Watkins LLP, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. He also previously worked in the financial services industry in New York both as an investment banker at Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. and as an investment analyst in the hedge fund industry.
