Timothy K. Shuba

Tim Shuba practices primarily in the area of electric energy regulation and restructuring. He represents both large industrial retail customers and wholesale customers of providers of electric energy and energy services with respect to energy supply and pricing issues and also with respect to transmission access and contract issues. He has been active recently in state restructuring proceedings, both at the legislative and regulatory levels, and in development of various Regional Transmission Organizations under the guidance and direction of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. He also has had considerable experience in financial and corporate transactions, which complement his work in energy and transmission contracting.

Professional Experience

Mr. Shuba was a partner at Shea & Gardner prior to its combination with Goodwin in 2004.


While in law school, Mr. Shuba served as an Executive Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review.
