Bradley A. Bugdanowitz

Brad Bugdanowitz, a partner in the firm's Life Sciences Group, serves as Chairman of Goodwin’s San Francisco office and Head of the firm’s West Coast Life Sciences practice. He focuses his practice on merger and acquisition transactions, securities offerings and corporate governance. He joined Goodwin in 2008.

Mr. Bugdanowitz works with investment funds and public and private corporations in structuring and executing minority and control investments, acquisitions, dispositions and public and private offerings of equity and debt securities.

Professional Activities

Mr. Bugdanowitz serves on the Board of Directors of the Northwest Outward Bound School.

  • Codenomicon Oy in its sale to Synopsys International Limited
  • Royalty Pharma in its acquisition of royalties resulting from commercialization of the drug ibrutinib from Quest Diagnostics, and related collaboration with Aisling Capital and Clarus Ventures
  • ECG Management Consultants, Inc. in its recapitalization by Gryphon Investors
  • Anthera Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in its collaboration with Zenyaku Kogyo Co Ltd., preferred stock and convertible note financings, initial and follow-on public common stock offerings, SEC reporting and governance matters
  • Trigemina Holdings, Inc. in its reinversion transaction from Chile to the United States and related financing transactions
  • Sprout Health Group in its growth equity investment by Housatonic Partners
  • NIKE in its $2 billion aggregate bond offerings, strategic partnership with Dyecoo Textile Systems, B.V., SEC reporting and governance matters
  • Passport Capital in its investment in NEOS GeoSolutions
  • JMI Equity in its investments in SiriusDecisions, BigMachines and Paradigm, Ltd.
  • Altos Therapeutics, Aspire Medical, BioClin Therapeutics, Trigemina Holdings, Radiant Medical, Resonance Medical, Wireless Glue Networks in Preferred equity financing transactions
  • Management group in its management led leveraged buyout of Entek Holdings LLC and subsequent representation of ENTEK in its recapitalization, financing and partnership transactions
  • Outward Bound USA, Inc., Pacific Crest Outward Bound School and the Northwest Outward Bound School in various matters on a pro bono basis.
