Mergers & Acquisitions - Senior Associate

The Public M&A team in Goodwin’s Global M&A group is seeking a candidate with 5+ years of experience to join the team. Goodwin’s Global M&A group continues to be industry-leading, and Goodwin has been consistently recognized as the law firm with the highest volume of M&A transactions worldwide.

The Public M&A team provides the opportunity to work on exciting, headline-grabbing M&A cross-industry transactions, including in Goodwin’s nationally recognized technology, life sciences, private equity, and real estate practices. Candidates should have substantial M&A and transactional experience, with a focus on M&A transactions involving public and private companies (on the sellside and buyside) and related securities laws. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work directly with senior partners on a broad range of M&A and public company transactions and build versatile skill sets as trusted strategic advisors to our clients. A successful candidate will be positioned for quick consideration for elevation, subject to performance, firm criteria, and business needs.

Candidates applying for associate positions with Goodwin should have strong academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) and deal sheet is required.
