Financial Services – Mid-Level Associate

Goodwin seeks a highly qualified mid-level associate to join our Financial Services practice in the Washington, DC, office. Candidates should be familiar with counseling on consumer and small business financial products and services, including all payments and credit, alternative lending arrangements (e.g., earned wage access, merchant cash advances, factoring), deposits, and payments. Candidates should have some knowledge of the federal laws and regulations that apply to these products and services, as well as state laws. Candidates should be ambitious, have strong writing and oral presentation skills, and have experience working in teams and in managing substantial components of projects independently.

Candidates applying for associate positions with Goodwin should have outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.
