BOSTON, March 11, 2004 — Goodwin Procter LLP today announced the addition of Lizette Pérez-Deisboeck to its Boston office. She joins the firm’s Technology & Emerging Companies Practice as partner.
Pérez-Deisboeck has particular expertise working with young businesses and early-stage investors. She has a full understanding of the issues that today’s entrepreneurs encounter as they form new companies, raise capital and deal with the day-to-day challenges facing rapidly growing companies.
Pérez-Deisboeck joins the firm from Idealab, a privately held technology incubator, where she was vice president of legal affairs and operations. Before joining Idealab, she was employed as general counsel at JuniorNet Corporation, a software company based in Boston. From 1993 to 1999, she was an associate in Goodwin Procter’s Corporate Department.
She earned her B.A.. from the University of Rochester and J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
