Lawyers from Goodwin Procter’s London office have advised German investment fund client Credit Suisse Asset Management Immobilien (CSAM) on a series of real estate transactions totalling more than £300 million over the last 12 months. Most recently, the firm advised on the£142.2 million sale of Plantation Place South, a prime multi-let office building in the City of London, to one of Kazakhstan’s richest men.
In addition to Plantation Place South, Goodwin advised CSAM on the following transactions:
- £90 million sale of The Corn Exchange, an office building in the City of London (March 2014);- £25 million sale of office premises in Newcastle, England (November 2013); and
- the sale of office premises in Lochrin Square, Edinburgh, Scotland (September 2013).
The Goodwin deal team advising CSAM on the transactions was led by Real Estate Capital Markets partner Joe Conder and associate Martin Smith.
