Professionals
Goodwin is proud to announce that a former summer associate was honored on December 6 at the 23rd Annual Human Relations Award Luncheon organized by the New York Lawyers Division of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL).

Under the mentorship of partner Fred Rein, summer associate Adanna Uwazurike researched and drafted a memo analyzing the reach of First Amendment protection for online harassment, such as “doxxing” or “swatting.” Uwazurike was recognized as winner of the Best Overall Memo in the New York region’s Summer Associate Research Program memo competition. In addition, the New York Lawyers Division congratulated Goodwin as ADL’s 2017 Memo Competition Winning Firm.
