The Frankfurt Real Estate Industry team advised KanAm Grund Group on the acquisition of the property Hansastrasse 4 and 6 in the city of Dresden, Germany. The seller is Aurelis Real Estate.
The Wilhelminian-style building at Hansastrasse 4 and 6, which is leased on a long-term basis to the Free State of Saxony, has been extensively refurbished and modernized over the past two years. It is used by the Saxon Ministry of Justice, and comprises more than 4,600 square meters of rental space.
The building is the launch property of the new real estate special fund “KanAm Grund Öffentliche Institutionen Deutschland”, which aims at institutional investors like banks and savings banks. The open special AIF with fixed investment conditions is designed to meet investors' increased demand for safe investments. The target volume is over €500 million and at least 10 properties.
